According to a recent research study conducted at the San Francisco State University, people who engage in creative pursuits tend to benefit in the following ways:

  • They tend to feel lower levels of stress.
  • They’re able to relax and recharge, which better prepares them for the next workday.
  • They may be learning new skills, which they can then apply to their work.
  • They’re better at problem solving than those who don’t have some sort of creative hobby.

So get crafty and let your creativity flow! Your efforts will certainly be personally rewarding. And as an added benefit, you’ll also be more successful at your day job. It’s a win-win situation!
