You know how you’re supposed to use a different, strong password for every website you use? And you know how hard it is to remember all of those different passwords? Well, one of my coworkers has come up with a cool way to make this easy. Here’s how his system works…

Think of a random word that’s six to seven letters long.
Example: monitor

Put two empty spaces in the middle of your word. (It doesn’t matter where you put them.)
Example:  m_oni_tor

Add a number and a special character at the end.
Example:  m_oni_tor35$

And that’s all you have to remember! Now, whenever you visit a certain website, just take the first two letters of that site and put them in the empty spaces of your password.

For instance, if you visit amazon.com, the first two letters are “a” and “m.” So your password for that site would be: maonimtor35$

If you visit chewy.com, the first two letters are “c” and “h.” So your password for that site would be: mconihtor35$

And there you have it! It’s simple, secure, and easy to remember!
